Newel Tops Balustrades

These crafty little decorative features are added to the posts of your staircase, giving them that final finishing touch. They can then be painted or stained to match the rest of your staircase. Note that they can only be made from wood, so are unsuitable for use with stainless steel posts.

Circular tops are generally round balls sat atop the post
Square tops can be as ornate or simple as you want

Newel Tops and Design

It is essential that you newel tops you select suit the design of your overall staircase. Round tends to be more traditional due to their attention grabbing nature, whilst square tends to be more classic. If you aren't sure what sort of tops will best complement your design, be sure to ask for assistance!
